Why people call

  • Separate from the home policy

Wind and water are not the same coverage. We quote flood beside the homeowners policy, not inside it.

  • Brevard County addresses

Palm Bay, Melbourne, the beaches, and the rest of the county. The address and the flood zone shape the quote.

You do not pay us to compare. You decide after you see the options.

Why flood is listed on its own

A standard homeowners policy typically does not cover flood. Rising water, storm surge, and standing water need a flood policy. We quote that policy on its own and tell you it is flood coverage, not a homeowners endorsement.

Flood coverage can be written through the National Flood Insurance Program or a private flood policy. A private policy is not automatically broader. We compare what each one actually pays for, including whether contents are included. Many flood policies have a waiting period before coverage starts. We will tell you the waiting period on the quote you are looking at. We will not promise you can bind coverage the day a storm is named.

Call or text (321) 429-1182, or use the quote form with Flood already selected. Have the property address ready. If you also want homeowners, landlord, or auto, say so and we will quote those too.

A free quote is not a policy. Nothing on this page is a binder of coverage.

Questions people ask

Does my homeowners quote include flood?

No. A standard homeowners policy typically does not cover flood. We quote flood as its own policy.

I am not in a flood zone. Do I still need it?

A lender may not require it, and you can still have a flood claim. Brevard County gets heavy rain and coastal water. We will not tell you a zone letter means the house cannot flood. The quote shows the zone we used.

Is there a waiting period?

Often yes. Many flood policies do not cover a loss in the first days after you buy them. The number of days is on the quote. Do not wait until a storm is in the Gulf and assume we can bind it that afternoon. Some carriers pause new business when a storm is near.

Does flood insurance cover my furniture?

Only if contents coverage is on the policy. Building coverage and contents coverage are separate. A basement or an enclosure can have special limits. We read those limits with you.

What is the difference between NFIP and private flood?

The National Flood Insurance Program is a federal program with its own form. Private flood carriers use their own contracts. One is not automatically cheaper or broader. We show the deductible, the building limit, and the contents limit side by side.

Will my mortgage company accept the policy?

If your loan requires flood insurance, the lender sets the amount and the proof it wants. Bring the requirement letter. We will not promise a lender will accept a policy we have not matched to that letter.

Does a landlord policy include flood?

No. Flood is still a separate policy if you rent the house out. Tell us it is a rental so we quote the right building form and do not assume you live there.

Is the flood quote free?

Yes. Comparing flood options with this office is free. You do not have to buy a policy.
