What we do

Florida uses HealthCare.gov. Bring who needs coverage and your ZIP code. We review Marketplace options with you and you decide whether to enroll. A consultation is a review of options. It is not a promise that a plan will cost a certain amount, and it is not a plan benefit.

If you missed the start of open enrollment, ask us whether a special enrollment period may apply. We will check the timing with you. We do not invent a qualifying event.

Private plans outside the Marketplace are a different conversation. Dental, vision, and supplemental policies are too. Use the links on this page if that is what you need.

Javier is appointed with all ACA Marketplace carriers in Florida, not a short list. Call or text (321) 429-1182. Palm Bay, Melbourne, and the rest of Brevard County can use this office.

A consultation with this office is free. Nothing on this page is a binder of coverage.

Questions people ask

When does Marketplace open enrollment start?

It starts November 1. Check HealthCare.gov for the last day. This office will review options with you during that window. The consultation is free.

Do you charge a fee to enroll?

No. There is no fee for the consultation or the enrollment help. If you enroll, the carrier pays the commission.

Can you tell me the premium before we talk?

No. Marketplace premiums depend on age, ZIP code, household, income, and the plan. We do not publish sample premiums, and we do not describe any plan as free. You will see the figures on the Marketplace application before you enroll.

Will a tax credit apply?

Maybe. Premium tax credits are a Marketplace question tied to household income and who needs coverage. We do not guess the credit on this page. Bring a rough income and we will look at it with the application, not with a made-up number.

I am turning 65. Is the Marketplace the right place?

Often no. Medicare has its own timing. Use the Medicare page if you are turning 65 or already on Medicare. We will sort out which program fits before you drop anything. This page does not describe Medicare benefits.

What is a special enrollment period?

A window outside open enrollment, tied to a life event such as losing other coverage, moving, getting married, or having a baby. The deadline is measured from the event. Bring the date. We will not start an application on a hunch.

Can I keep my doctor?

Only if that doctor is in the plan’s network. We check the names you give us. A plan can change a network. We will not promise a doctor stays in network all year.

What should I have ready?

Your ZIP code, who needs coverage, and a rough household income. Dates of birth help. A list of doctors and prescriptions helps too. You can add details on the call if you do not have them today.

Ready to talk it through?
